Let me start this by first saying hello, 2019!
I always find myself taking these long breaks away from this blog, mostly because life happens and the desire to sit in front of the keyboard becomes less alluring when all you want to do with your free time is sleep. The last few months of 2018 was incredibly busy/eventful/and life changing. I’ve been thinking of writing a big post about all that’s happened because these events sit so close to my heart. So much emotion and so much love, I just need time to still figure a way to express it all but it will be soon! Very soon.
But here I am again on Soft Speak, wanting to share the last trip Jay and I took back in November to visit Jay’s family in Florida. It was my first time in the Sunshine State and I’m glad I was able to see Jay’s family before the holidays.
I absolutely loved Epcot. It’s a big theme park with sections dedicated to different countries from around the world. It pulls on a traveler’s heart strings, definitely. Each country also featured the movie and characters that were based in that destination, such as Marry Poppins in the UK, Frozen in Denmark, Belle from Beauty and the Beast in France, Mulan in China, Coco in Mexico! etc. My goal was to take pictures and try to eat literally everything. The food was so good. France was probably my favorite with all of its pastries and fancy cheeses. There are a few rides, such as Soarin’ Around The World and an actual spaceship stimulator. But I honestly just enjoyed walking around with food in my hand and soaking in the views and landmarks.
A lil bit of Italy.
